I can't believe it has been over a month since my last post, where is my mind? I think I lost it at Shambhala, but after losing something, you often find it.  This festival was unlike any other experience, in that I was spiritually enlightened.  Im not sure if it was the people, the constant bass that was synonymous to my heartbeat, or the Salmo River that flowed through the festival, but something about those four days set my heart on fire and made me dance with joy.

Here are some pics of my adventure, filled with beautiful people, mesmerizing art, and a yearning in my heart for next year's adventure! Best event of the summertime.

Last Friday we all went out to the Polo field in Okotoks and went to a Friday evening game.  It was so much fun, too much wine and champagne, but what's a girl to do at the polo game?  Check out the latest polo chic fashions featuring Sidney, Sandy, Jelena, Nesha, Katey and moi.  Very reminiscent of Julia Roberta and Richard Gere in Pretty Woman.

Julio in the Ghetto

So we did a crazy photoshoot after we went to the Stampede and encountered some  abandoned houses.  These are the results for some of them, we climbed a fence and everything

Let there be light

I love chandeliers............stay tuned for more chandeliers to come.....something about them completely mesmerizes me.  This one is from the HiFi entrance.

I am so excited to meet this amazing artist, who is up-and-coming, but sure to be in the top hot artists of Calgary. Montreal based, France Jodoin will be celebrating her second solo exhibition at The Weiss Gallery on Thursday, September 10th from 5-8pm. When I first saw her paintings, I immediately assumed it was painted by a man. To my surprise, it was this tiny little woman names France who paints powerful seacapes that depict the tumultuous nature of the sea and the sky. My personal favourite painter at the gallery, as I never get tired of looking into the windows of the imaginative sea.

Fashion Forward

Northern Soul: Tod's boots, Domino Jeans, Donna Karen jacket, and Donna Karen belt
Brittania Rules: Akris suit, Valentino bag, Christian Loubitan sparkle city pumps.
Brittania Rules: Wearing Gucci pants, Etro club jacket, Etro bow tie and Etro argyle pullover.
Streamlined Look: Valentino boot leggings, and Gucci sparkle hoodie.

The looks were styled by my sister, Kate and she did an incredible job demonstrating all of the new themes for the fall, as well as the must-have items.  This was outside of Teatro where Mode Models wore the trends.  Amazing.
