Julio in the Ghetto

So we did a crazy photoshoot after we went to the Stampede and encountered some  abandoned houses.  These are the results for some of them, we climbed a fence and everything

Let there be light

I love chandeliers............stay tuned for more chandeliers to come.....something about them completely mesmerizes me.  This one is from the HiFi entrance.

Timelessness

I am so excited to meet this amazing artist, who is up-and-coming, but sure to be in the top hot artists of Calgary. Montreal based, France Jodoin will be celebrating her second solo exhibition at The Weiss Gallery on Thursday, September 10th from 5-8pm. When I first saw her paintings, I immediately assumed it was painted by a man. To my surprise, it was this tiny little woman names France who paints powerful seacapes that depict the tumultuous nature of the sea and the sky. My personal favourite painter at the gallery, as I never get tired of looking into the windows of the imaginative sea.

Fashion Forward

Northern Soul: Tod's boots, Domino Jeans, Donna Karen jacket, and Donna Karen belt
Brittania Rules: Akris suit, Valentino bag, Christian Loubitan sparkle city pumps.
Brittania Rules: Wearing Gucci pants, Etro club jacket, Etro bow tie and Etro argyle pullover.
Streamlined Look: Valentino boot leggings, and Gucci sparkle hoodie.

The looks were styled by my sister, Kate and she did an incredible job demonstrating all of the new themes for the fall, as well as the must-have items.  This was outside of Teatro where Mode Models wore the trends.  Amazing.

$$$Richie Rich$$$

Terry Richardson is a rad dude.  His photos are totally insane and 'heroin chic', and I find him such a huge photography inspiration. The other night when I was at Gerry Thomas Gallery I thought of Terry as I was sipping my Belvedere vodka slime.  His prolific content, and loud sense of humour is what makes him one of the most influential celebrity/photographers of our time.  I Love you Terry!
