Coco Avant Chanel

I'm so excited for the new Gabrielle Bonheur "Coco" Chanel film entitled "Coco Avant Chanel" just premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in France.  The film is directed by Anne Fontaine, and the best part is the movie is actually in French-with subtitles and everything.  I couldn't imagine a movie based on the famous Mademoiselle without a french actress, and who better to play her than Amelie's Audrey Tautou.  The movie will be biopic commencing with Chanel's childhood to making cabaret costumes for herself as a young women.  We owe so much debt to her from Masion Chanel to making modernist menswear-inspired garments, Chanel was one of the most influential women of the 20th Century.  Afterall, without Coco, what would we do? here would be no haute couture, no Chanel No.5,  as the designer once said "Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance."
